In the photo are two college students busy searching online and preparing for updates in their college classes ( rightmost and leftmost) and their nephew/niece ( middle part) were also busy communicating to their respective parents working in Manila via Facebook.

Pilar Reading Center, an advocacy org for children and youth’s literacy, hopes to assist some of these college students within the area thru its StudyHub ( inspired by the initiative of VP Leni Robredo of assisting students cope with the distance learning.)

PRC hopes to install STUDY HUBS with at least good wifi connection in two areas starting September 2020 . One in its new main office/ center yet still situated at Banuyo, Pilar, Sorsogon and another at San Jose, Pilar Sorsogon as satellite center.

You too can make a difference! You can donate used/ new and functional pocket wifi, wifi router, loads and any other means to assist them cope with the demand esp for college students.

If we can work together to help these students, they need not worry to hike steps at night ( which has usual strong signal according to them).
