In celebration of the 2016 National Science and Technology Week, Pilar Reading Center and Deparrment of Education-Pilar District invite you to the#2ndScienceAndTechnologyOnlineWritingCompetition with the theme: Maximizing The Use of Social Media Through In-Depth and Productive Reading
Interested Grade 7-12 students from any high school in the Bicol region can join the online writing contest.
The entries to the 2nd Science And Technology Online Writing should be sent to official competition email: scitechonlinewriting@gmail.com.
The entry forms and entries should also be sent in the official Facebook page: Pilar Reading Center as message.
The entry must be written in English and should be original. It must contain a minimum of 800 words and a maximum of 1000 words.
The entries shall be judged on the basis of the following criteria:
- Substance, content, originality, analysis, Science and Technology-integration and adherence to the theme- 60%.
- Logic, organization and coherence-20%
- Grammar and mechanics-20%
All decisions of the organizers, judges, related to the contest, selection process and the selection of winners shall be final and unappealable.
