Sunday’s Creativity and Social Activities at PRC
October 17, 2016Progress Check Up held, 37 Kids Attended
Thirty seven Tulay Children, in school and out of school, attended the Holiday Learning Session called #ProgressCheckUp held at Pilar Reading Center on October 17, 2016.
Today’s Progress Check Up invited two guest story tellers or #kwentistas, Sharmaine Sulayao and Ruth Arias.
Kwentista Ruth shared about Tiktaktok at Pikpakbum by Rene Villanueva. Kwentista Sharmaine also shared about Ang Pambihirang Buhok Ni Raquel, also an Adarna published book.
Progress Check Up features varied activities including read aloud activities, story sharing, story reading and story telling sessions. Others like art workshops, spelling contest, board games are also conducted during #ProgressCheckUp.
Progress Check Up was first conducted last June 2015. It started as a monitoring program for the Reading Camp 2015 attendees.
PCU is in line with the vision of PRC “Every Child A Reader. One Child At A Time.”
